Did you mistype 'aerial' deliberately so the software can read it more accurately as speech?
A description of the remote control handset would surely be most useful as it's common to all boxes? Perhaps you already have that.
Philips have never manufactured a Sky Digibox. AFAIK the models are:-
Amstrad DRX100, 200, 300, 400
Grundig GDS200, 210, 300, 310, 2000, 3000
Pace BSKYB2200, 2300, 2400, 2500, 2600, 3000
Panasonic TU-DSB20, 30, 31, 35, 40
Sony VTX-S750U, S760U - #3Originally posted by Sam Radford

Philips was a guess. and 'aerial' well that was a spelling mistake. If you spot any others pass them on, i am sure there are more.
Thank you for the list that is exactly what I was looking for. now to pick the brains of everyone here a little more. anyone know where I would get manuals for all of these. I have all the manuals for Pace, got them from their website, but cant find much for the rest I have tried google and strangely enough I have not been able to find anything. thank you once again.
There is a discription of the remote control at
http://martin-osullivan.tripod.com/digital-tv/remote-control.html - #4Amstrad used to have the DRX100 user manual on their web site. If it's no longer there you might still find it here:
http://www.The-Cool-Book-Shop.com
Click on 'Satellite' and follow the links for 'free books' (I think).

and AFAIK Thomson now make one
Good point. Thomson bought out Grundig who manufactured their Digiboxes at the Gooding factory in Pontyclun.
Unfortunately the Thomson box does not have the S-video output.
It also has a different tuner module allegedly so performance outside the UK is unknown.
Sam - #7If you would like I have manuals on the grundig GDS210, GDS200,GDS300, GDS310 (one manual) and I also have two pace manuals one for the BSKYB2500 and one for the BSKYB2200 if any of these are any good let me no.Originally posted by martin-osulliva
